Salmon colored

Just finished to restore this beautiful secretaire, the color makes me hungry cause it makes me think about a giant salmon just laying there all smoked and tasty. You can actually write on it and do not need to eat it up.

On my way to Markaryd

One of the year´s most funny antique meeting is taking place this week-end in Markaryd.
It´s (as many of you already know) an open market where bargain, dust, rain, beer and antiques all flow together in a cool spontaneous happening. Get over there and try to find a new favorite antique item for you ego.

Dirty beauties

On the way to be washed on the green lawn, 16 beautiful hand-blown glass vases from an old greenhouse. They are very tall, 53 cm to be correct, spiral shaped and great looking. The greenhouse was grounded 1906 and it´s situated in the countryside of Helsingborg. They have been packed in an attic since 1966 (which by the way is a great year) and not touched since then.

New arrivals

The very recent little journey to Dalarna (and the surrounding region), has been delivering four beautiful Norrlands chairs. Northern baroque with an end of the century enchanting color.

Why do i always fall so much for the colors of the item?
Probably because nice colors are nice. How simple is that?
Hey there were more deliveries, i let you soon know about them.

Deserved relax

I´m taking few days off after a very good Helsingborg Antique show. It was a personal success in this supposed hard financial time. I guess i´m lucky and that people in Sweden (and all over USA and Europe) do still love charming antiques at decent prices. Who care´s why, i´m happy anyway. So now some nice days off with my beloved family, and after a not too good July weather, even some dreamed beach time is becoming a reality. Until next week planed Dalarna trip to continue my antique hunting season, cheers to you all!
