So Swedish and with an artist whose name is so very Italian. Frans Johan Roselli from Eksjö in Småland. Actually a student of the extravagant master of dramatic landscapes Marcus Larson.
Un underestimated one if you ask me.

Xmas Salmon

Funny how you buy 2 pieces from totally different places in the country, you scrape them and they have almost exactly the same color. And this beautiful salmon pink is not so very common.

It felt like Amundsen with a Passat

Extremely cold period in all the country, snow storm and hard winds in the south, extremely low temperature in the middle and north of Sweden. But yes so beautiful.

My favorite wall

This concrete wall by the entrance of my show/working place is just too nice. It could fit in every nice house or flat from the beaches of Malibu to the Norwegian fjords. From the outback of Australia to the eternal shining Paris. I do love taking pictures of my stuffs in front of it.

Autumn Salmon

Inspired by Halloween here a really tasteful salmon in the oven.
Fresh salmon, pumpkin fruit pieces and seeds, olive oil, lemon, garlic, sun root (Jerusalem artichoke), salt and pepper. In in the oven about 20 min or less, 225 celsius.
As delicious as it is simple.

Finally Copenhagen!

I love to visit Copenhagen, one of my absolutely favorite city in the world. Add then the fact that i usually have a good selling there than you understand me even more.
From Friday afternoon (14.00) at the Forum Fair Center in the middle of the town we (about 400 dealers) will be selling there for all the week-end.

Piemonte lake

Fall time in north Italy as well, even though a little bit warmer than Sweden. Misty view to dream and reflect about the winter life we are going forward to.

My own little cathedral

I´m so long the master over this carving jewel,  a clock from the pretty early 18th. century that makes me feel like if i own a little piece of that time. It feels like (in a exaggerated comparison) a piece of a sculpture  mounted in a pillar of a baroque cathedral.
I´m totally sober, allow me to feel great.

Drawers maniac 2

It´s not a horror movie title, it´s just that i ve been telling you about my love for original painted small drawers before, probably more than once. Drawers maniac 3 is anyway coming soon.

The 3 grey ones

Gustavian, period, scraped to the original grey color, smalls differences in the tone of it, but same amazing feeling.

I feel like an archaeologist

You couldn´t hardly see the carving nice work on this gustavian sofa.
To take the original color and carving up to the surface makes me feel like an archeaoligist without mummies. Still a nice feeling and less scaring.

France by dawn

It´s dawn, it´s calm, it´s early and still kind of dark but you feel the energy of the French cities already in vibration.

All kind of contrast

Colors, all kind, they were master of colors combínation in the past in Sweden. I like to scrape the over painted furniture´s and discover the fantasy of the old artists.

End of summer

Oh yeah, sad but true, even though some nice weather, school started today and you feel the end of summer around you.
It doesn´t means mental depression, now it´s a good time to focus on the good part of the soon coming fall time. There is a lot of good things happening in the next future i can see forward to.

But damm i love the summer!

The charming factor is very high!

It arrives from North Sweden, it´s nice in wood quality, shape and forms.
It is as heavy as it is green and i love that color.

4 Sisters for thirsty Sailors

The totally original Chatul with 4 engraved (on all the 4 sides) and perfect nice small bottles is an unusual found. Even the key is left and working and the mahogany box has original tapestry inside. Nice, it´s not an unusual item, but the untouched conditions are special. Cheers sailors!

Cabinet with love

A lovely cabinet, made for a wedding occasion, just came in my possession. It went away as fast as the flame of love probably turned on directly between this promise couple.
Am i too romantic?
I don´t care.

Blue like the caribean sea

It´s what i can look at when the Mexican sea is only a sweet memory. But i LOVE this blue trunks!
I do admit the contrast between Mexico and Sweden is huge, but in a very different way they are 2 countries with an exceptionalal variety of wonderful colors.

What should i have done when my best friend call and ask me if i want to follow him to Mexico on a luxury all inclusive resort with everything else paid from a sponsor?

When she saw me working at the computer with the photos of a new income and freshly scraped  cabinet with a nice color,  she said " I like that!"
It will feet perfectly right in a corner in the bedroom, it is not every day she likes my work results!

The little blue original painted "mangelbräde" horse from dated early 19 th. feels like a king (a horse-king) on the beautiful red chest of drawers.
